Aristotle

Aristotelis started dancing salsa at the age of 20 in the salsa-dancing streets of the UK. He took classes at various schools until he discovered “Latin Quarter” to Leeds, where he found the environment and space to grow and mature. He became part of their dance group, performing in various shows and events. In 1997 he won the Birmingham Salsa championship. That year he also began his career as a teacher, teaching in clubs and gyms, dance centres and Contemporary Dance Schools.

It is characterised by its high level of teaching quality, imparting to students a spirit of fun and joy, and most importantly the true basis of communication between partners and of natural and intuitive leading and following, “the glue that makes the magic work...”.

Since 1998 he has taught with his partner, Sandra Fernandes. He performed with the Latin Quarter Dance Group at the Pontins International Salsa Festival as well as in other cities in the UK. Living in Portugal since 2000, she created “Latin Quarter Portugal” with her partner. In the following years she performed, on behalf of the school and as part of the dance troupe, at the biggest salsa events in Portugal and abroad.
