Lyrical Jazz is a dance style that emerges from the fusion of Ballet with Jazz Dance and Contemporary Dance.
Combines the perfect lines and technique of ballet with the freedom, fluidity, musicality and technique of jazz and contemporary dance. Movement is used to express strong emotions and the lyrics of the songs serve as inspiration for movements and expressions.
The class starts with a warm-up, followed by centre and diagonal technique work, including various exercises inspired by ballet. It works on strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, jumps, pirouettes and other technical elements of jazz dance.
Finally, a choreography is performed, where the student can put the technique into practice and develop their expressiveness.
